Reliable water storage for a nursery and (re)plantation
These water tanks are installed in the Rivera department, in the north of Uruguay. They were installed for a forestry company that is engaged in planting and forest management. This forestry company operates a nursery, engages in plantation and reforestation efforts and strives to educate the community about the hazards associated with forest fires.
The silos have a diameter of 8.23 meters and a height of 3.05 meters. They feature a coated bottom ring, offering additional protection to the metal. ENPEX FPP 0,75 was applied as silo lining material. The tanks are finalized with a tensioned anti-algae cover, ensuring optimal water protection.
These tanks store water for firefighting in remote locations where there is no other water supply nearby.
