The Dominican Republic is a tomato country par excellence, with an extremely suitable soil and perfect climatic conditions for tomato growth. In addition, the planting and harvesting processes of industrial tomatoes in the Dominican Republic are well organized, so that the result is a tomato of excellent export quality.
Via a technical installer we supplied water tanks to one of the many tomato nurseries in the Dominican Republic. This company grows tomatoes for the production of tomato paste. Every year, tons of tomatoes are transported to contracted factories, which then process them into tomato sauce and puree. The water tanks are linked to the irrigation system and create a constant availability of clean and fresh water. A must to obtain a good yield of top quality tomatoes.
